Grant Summary and Timeline: This is the third term of the KDOC-JS Reinvestment and Regional Grants related to implementation of SB367 and established by K.S.A. 38-2301 reinvesting in communities to support youth with effective evidence-based programs to help maintain youth in their homes and home communities. The first term of the grant was in 2017 for SFY18 and renewal occurred for the second term of SFY19. The Regional Grant is a collaboration inclusive of eight (8) counties (Butler, Cowley, Elk, Greenwood, Harvey, McPherson, Sedgwick and Sumner). The Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board (Team Justice) approved the grant renewal/fiscal workbook submissions at their March 29, 2019 meeting.
