Grant Summary and Timeline: The lack of housing or the ability to maintain housing is one of the many barriers that are experienced by individuals diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). COMCARE has been provided a funding opportunity to help support clients experiencing housing needs. This grant will give COMCARE funds to provide emergency crisis housing and associated living expenses to individuals over the age of 18 experiencing a housing crisis, who have a SPMI diagnosis, and who are willing to participate in case management services.

The intent of this program is to provide support to clients who are in a housing crisis and require additional services and support. This program will assist those individuals in maintaining permanent housing.
