Amendment to Agreement with the South Central Mental Health Counseling Center.

Recommended Action: Approve the amendment and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Background: As a licensed Community Mental Health Center, the South Central Mental Health Counseling Center (SCMHCC) must provide 24-hour services to mental health consumers in Butler County. The current agreement contracts out after-hours emergency services to COMCARE’S Crisis Intervention Services program (CIS).The proposed amendment updates the administrative fee paid to COMCARE to the current and correct rate of $300.00 a month. No other changes were made.
Alternatives: Should the amendment not be adopted, the contract will continue to list the incorrect monthly administrative fee.
Financial Considerations:
Revenue: No change- the agency is already paying the correct rate of $300.00 a month, the contract is simply being amended to reflect this amount.

Legal Considerations: The Sedgwick County Counselor's Office has reviewed and approved the amendment. The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101 and a simple majority vote is required.
Policy Considerations: All Sedgwick County policies have been followed in the development of this amendment.
