2018 Annual Expense Report of Rockford Township and Minneha Township

Rockford Township and Minneha Township annual reports were pulled from the April 3, 2019 Consent Agenda for additional review. Rockford Township has since submitted a revised annual report to include unpaid invoice amount as of December 31, 2018 from Kansas Paving. Minneha Township report is the same as previously presented. The amount of the unpaid invoice was due to insufficient cash on-hand to pay invoices received in late December, 2018. Those invoices have been paid after the first distribution was received this year.
Recommended Action: Receive and file.
Alternatives: If the annual report and accounts are found not correct, or not in conformity to law, the Board of County Commissioners shall cite such township auditing board to appear before it and correct any errors appearing therein [per KSA 80-304(a)].
Financial Considerations: None
Legal Considerations: Pursuant to K.S.A. 80-304, all townships are required to file annual reports with the County Clerk for approval by the Board of County Commissioners. Approval is by simple majority vote.
