Recommended Action: Approve the use agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign.

Sedgwick County owns and controls property at 250 N. St. Francis, Wichita, KS (“Coleman Parking Lot”). Sedgwick County was approached by The Honore Adversis Foundation to host a fundraising event held on May 4^th, 2019. The event is described as providing music, dancing, and amateur boxing (sanctioned by USA Boxing and Event Insurance), as well as food and adult beverages for purchase. The event hosts have contacted Wichita City to ensure they are obtaining all the necessary food and drink licenses, as well as, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department, and have received approval for their event security enforcement plans. No roads will be closed for this event.

Alternatives: Do not approve the use agreement.

Legal Considerations: This action is authorized by K.S.A 10-101. A simple majority vote is required.
