Title
CIP Amendment to Project R-344: Greenwich Road from Harry to Pawnee. District 5.
Body
Recommended Action: Approve the CIP Amendment.
The City of Wichita and Sedgwick County are partnering on a federally funded road widening project on Greenwich Road from Harry to Pawnee. The area is urbanizing and recent development of the new Southeast High School has increased traffic in the area. The north half mile is in the City of Wichita and the south half mile is in unincorporated Sedgwick County.
The project budget needs to be adjusted to account for the actual cost to acquire right of way in the county portion of the project.
Alternatives: Take such action as the Board deems appropriate.
Financial Considerations: Public Works recommends transfer of funds from the following cost center to the cost center for CIP Project R344:

Legal Considerations: The Board of County Commissioners is authorized to amend the Capital Improvement Program under K.S.A. 19-120.
