National Public Health Week is April 1 - 7, 2019. This year’s theme "Creating the Healthiest Nation: For science. For action. For health" celebrates the power of prevention, advocating for healthy and fair policies, sharing strategies for successful partnerships and championing the role of a strong public health system.

 

----Steve Coen is the 2019 recipient of the Dr. Doren Fredrickson Award.

 

Dr. Fredrickson served as the Sedgwick County Health Department Health Officer from 2002 to 2008.
