Recommended Action: Approve the CIP Amendment.
The 2019 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) included funding for design of five bridges. When contracts were awarded, the actual cost of design for this bridge exceeded the CIP estimate while the actual cost of design of the other four bridges was less than the CIP estimate. The total cost of 2019 bridge designs was within the total budget for bridge designs. Public Works recommends the transfer of $3,000 from B-493 Design (21480-231) to B-497 Design (21477-231).
Alternatives: Take such action as the Board deems appropriate.
Financial Considerations: Public Works recommends the transfer of $3,000 from B-493 Design (21480-231) to B-497 Design (21477-231).
Legal Considerations: The Board of County Commissioners is authorized to amend the Capital Improvement Program under K.S.A. 19-120.
Policy Considerations: The CIP Amendment has been reviewed and approved by the CIP Committee and the County Manager in accordance with the CIP Policy.
