Body
All federal transportation funding in the Wichita area is coordinated and approved by WAMPO. Federal regulations require regular updates to the local long range transportation plan. The current plan runs through 2040. WAMPO and its member communities are currently preparing a plan update and WAMPO staff is heavily involved in community engagement. The presentation will provide an update to the Board of County Commissioners on the planning work.
