The Sedgwick County Board of County Commissioners is authorized to adopt rules and principles to govern the transaction of the Board’s business. Therefore, the Board of County Commissioners of Sedgwick County, Kansas, desires to adopt a set of rules regarding the Code of Ethical Conduct for County Commissioners to better address current needs.
Alternatives: Do not approve the Resolution.

Legal Considerations: Pursuant to K.S.A. 19-101 et seq, the Sedgwick County Board of County Commissioners may exercise the powers of home rule to determine its local affairs and government.
