Mr. Carlson is being appointed to fill the unexpired term of Rick Moyer, whose resignation was accepted October 24, 2018, therefore leaving a vacancy. K.S.A. 25-1606. Vacancies. All vacancies in the offices of Trustee, Clerk, or Treasurer of any Township shall be filled by appointment by the Board of County Commissioners. This term shall expire January 11, 2021.
