This is the second and final public hearing to be held regarding the 2019 Sedgwick County budget. The first public budget hearing was held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Budget adoption is scheduled for August 15, 2018.

Financial Considerations: As presented on July 18, 2018, the 2019 recommended budget totals $419,042,893, which includes a property tax levy of $142,756,344. The property tax levy is approximately equivalent to a property tax rate, expressed in mills, of 29.359 mills, based on the estimated assessed valuation and subject to review and technical adjustments.
