ACCEPT DONATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 FOR SEDGWICK COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT 1 R&D FUND.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the acceptance of the donation; authorize the Chairman to sign a letter of appreciation and the establishment of budget authority as provided in the Financial Considerations section of this Request.

Fire District 1 received an unsolicited donation from Joan Graf-Tibbals. Mrs. Graf-Tibbals has donated $100.00 to help underwrite expenses associated with Sedgwick County Fire District 1.
Financial Considerations: The total amount of the donation, $100.00, will be deposited in to cost center 14001-242. If approved, budget authority of an equal amount may be established in the fund center for the 2018 budget year. If any portion of the donation is unspent at the end of 2018, budget authority equaling the remaining amount may be established for the 2019 budget year.
