ACCEPT DONATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,216.08 FOR SEDGWICK COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT 1 R&D FUND.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the acceptance of the donation; authorize the Chairman to sign a letter of appreciation and the establishment of budget authority as provided in the Financial Considerations section of this request.

Fire District 1 received an unsolicited anonymous donation in the amount of $5,216.08 to help underwrite expenses associated with Sedgwick County Fire District 1.
Financial Considerations: The total amount of the donation, $5,216.08, will be deposited in to cost center 14001-242. If approved, budget authority in an equal amount will be established in budget year 2018, and any budget authority remaining from this donation at the end of 2018 may be authorized to be established in 2019.
