Budget Authority Adjustment: Requests for additional budget authority for 2018 total $2,600,694: $331,421 in 33014-253, $849,726 in 33015-253, and $1,419,547 in 33020-253. Details are included in the attached budget forms.
Personnel considerations: There are no planned personnel changes from the previous year. This grant funds forty-nine (49) FTE positions in 330206-18. This grant funds twenty-five (25) FTE positions in 33015-253. This grant funds four (4) FTE positions for 33014-253 as well as additional percentages for administrative staff positions. Budget form attachments are available for detailed information.
Expected measurable outcomes: In SFY19, to increase by 3% the successful completion rate of probation sentences as compared to SFY18. To increase by 2% the successful completion rate of clients that receive programming from the "Getting It Right" curriculum. Develop a collaborative partnership with Juvenile Field Services to assist each other in providing peer feedback on the delivery of cognitive skills programming.
Requirements from Sedgwick County: Quarterly Program and Fiscal Reports.
Alternatives: If we do not submit a plan for approval, we will not continue to receive these KDOC funds. We are obligated under state law K.S.A. 75-5291 to provide community corrections supervision to offenders assigned by the District Court.
