In July of 2014 a resolution was passed to unify license and permit fees in the MABCD jurisdiction. Non-residential and non-commercial structures were not differentiated from the fee structure for new finished and unfinished construction. The purpose of the resolution is to reduce the fees for non-commercial and non-residential structures due to the nature of their use and fewer inspection requirements involved with their construction.
