Recommended Action: Approve the adjustment of the terms of the agreement.
Purpose of this agreement is to provide uniform and mat rental servies pursuant to US Communities Contract #50716. Bid Board originally approved the purchase with an end date of March 31, 2019. However, US Communities is a 36 month agreement and Cintas only enters into agreements with a minimum term of 36 months. Therefore, the agreement needs to be changed to reflect an end date of 36 months from date of installation.
Alternatives: If we cannot elongate the term of this agreement, we must instead put the purchase back out to bid.
Financial Considerations: Extending the term of this contract to 36 months will lock in our uniform rental pricing for longer. It is the intent of the purchasing division to renew this contract upon its scheduled termination, so extending the term of the initial contract will have little to no affect on the County's purchases.
