Amendment to Agreement for Provision of Prescription Medication by and between Sedgwick County, Kansas Divison of Corrections and Dandurand Pharmacy, Inc.

Recommended action: Approve the Amendment and Authorize the Chair to sign.
The recent RFP for vendor pharmacy services resulted in the chosen vendor not signing the contract. To plan for future service needs or additional RFP process, Division of Corrections is in need of pharmacy services and requests use of most recent vendor for a period of 180 days.
Alternatives: Division of Corrections - Juvenile Services will be without a contracted pharmacy vendor for services.
Financial Considerations: Cost of medication/medical supplies for the Juvenile Detention Facility. Cost of medication/medical supplies for the Juvenile Residential Facility and SCYP program for those youth with no medical insurance coverage.
Legal Considerations: This Action is Authorized by K.S.A. 19-101, et seq. A simple majority is required.
