Recommended Action: Approve the Amendment to CIP Project B-492.
The 2017 CIP included funding for the design of four bridges. When contracts were awarded, the actual cost of design for two bridges exceeded the CIP estimate, while the actual cost of design of two bridges was less than the CIP estimate. The total cost of 2017 bridge designs was within the total budget for bridge designs. This is one of a series of CIP amendments required to adjust the budgets in each project to the actual contract amounts.
The proposed amendment has been reviewed by the CIP Committee and recommended for approval.

Financial Considerations: Public Works recommends the transfer of $4,000 from B-485 Design (21494-231) to B-492 Design (21492-231).
Legal Considerations: The Board of County Commissioners is authorized to amend the Capital Improvement Program under K.S.A. 19-120. A simple majority vote is required.
