Recommended Action: Approve the nomination of Richard Malm to the Governing Board of the National Association of Counties and instruct the County Clerk to submit the mail ballot to the Kansas Association of Counties.
The Kansas Association of Counties has completed the nomination process to select the next state representative to the Governing Board of the National Association of Counties. The term in office is for two (2) years beginning September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2019. By virtue of the nominating process explained in the KAC bylaws, one candidate, Richard Malm, Jefferson County Commissioner has been nominated.
