KDHE requires an Annual Update of each county's Solid Waste Management Plan. This report highlights significant events in solid waste planning and implementation since the last update. This report includes pertinent information and data relative to solid waste in Sedgwick County. The Solid Waste Management Committee approved this Annual Update at their last meeting on April 3, 2017.

Legal Considerations: The County is required to submit an annual update of its solid waste management plan to KDHE by K.S.A. 65-3405. Approval requires a simple majority vote.
