Recommended Action: Adopt the request and authorize the Chairman to sign.
OSS-Mailroom is adding an additional software license for the Pitney Bowes folder/inserter to the original lease agreement, which was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on July 6, 2016. This software will allow for leverage of discounted postal presort rates with the United States Postal Service.
Alternatives: Deny request which would prevent the County from taking advantage of discounted postal rates.
Financial Considerations: New license has no cost associated with it.
Legal Considerations: Contract has been reviewed and approved as to form by Legal. Approval for this contract is found under K.S.A. 19-101a and requires a simple majority vote.
