Grant Summary and Timeline:This is an annual award that is issued to the State of Kansas and is shared among the three forensic labs in the State. This year it was determined that Sedgwick County will be allocated $25,000 to fund equipment. The equipment funded by this award is to replace aging and/or non-functional items; this will allow the forensic laboratories to maintain its current level of service. The Grant award acceptance timeline is quite short again this year with the Notice dated February 17, 2017 on which day we received the notice via email and required to be processed, approved, signed and returned by March 3, 2017.
