The resolution designates the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer to sign any forms necessary to confirm the acceptance of any donation to Sedgwick County Fire District Number One. The Fire District has received donations in the form of houses and buildings and many other types of donations that require documentation. This would allow Finance staff to promptly complete and sign any and all necessary coinfirmation documents for all donations to the Fire District.
Recommended Action: To approve the resolution.
Alternatives: To not approve and likely have the Governing Body of Fire District One review and approve each such form as an agenda item.

Legal Considerations: The County can approve this resolution pursuant to its home rule powers indicated within K.S.A. 19-101 et seq. Approval of this resolution is by a simple majority vote.
