Approval of Community Programs' Delegate Agency 2017 Funding Agreements.

Recommended Action: Approve the agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign.
These agreements outline the legal relationships between the County and the Community Programs' delegate agencies which are approved for funding in the 2017 adopted budget. Two agencies' agreements, The Kansas African American Museum, Inc. and the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum Association, were approved by the County Commissioners on the December 21, 2016 agenda.
This is a renewal agreement as the County has funded this agency for several years. The agency and funding amount is:
The Sedgwick County Fair Association $ 29,427.00
Financial Considerations: Fund center 56001-110. Adequate budget authority exists in the program budget for 2017.
Legal Considerations: KSA 19-101 provides the authority for this action. A simple majority vote is required. The terms and conditions of these agreements are substantially similar to prior agreements.
