The Central Plains Area Agency on Aging (CPAAA) will enter into a provider agreement with Butler County Department on Aging (BCDoA) to provide case management services to Butler County residents for the Older Americans Act (OAA), In-Home Services program. The agreement details how the agency will provide case management services to Butler County residents 60 years of age or older who need support services enabling them to remain in the community and in the home environment of their choice. The OAA, Title IIIB program provides assessment, case management and coordination of in-home services to eligible participants.
Alternatives: Not approving this agreement would require CPAAA to provide case management services to OAA participants in Butler County.
Financial Considerations:
Contract period starts: October 1, 2016
Contract period ends: September 30, 2017
The program is funded through the Kansas Department on Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). The Contractor agrees to accept compensation at the rate of $25.00 per unit for case management services as established by Central Plains Area Agency on Aging (CPAAA) for the Older Americans Act Program. A billable unit is fifteen (15) minutes of case management services.

Budget Authority Adjustment: Sufficient budget authority is included in the 2017 budget, no additional budget authority is being requested.
