Body

Storms on July 3, 2016, and September 9, 2016, damaged bridge No. 604-30-1967 which is located on 61st St. North between Oliver and Woodlawn.  Public Works has determined that the bridge must be replaced.  61st St. North carries about 3,000 vehicles per day and is the major connector from K-254 highway to the cities of Kechi and Park City.  Public Works recommends replacement of this bridge as soon as possible.

Public Works has identified five completed projects that have cost savings that can be moved to this new project and allow for replacement this year.

Alternatives:  Take action that the Board deems appropriate.
