Title
AGREEMENTS WITH THE SEDGWICK COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS (BoCC) AND THE CITIES OF CHENEY AND VIOLA TO RECEIVE LIMITED ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES THROUGH THE SEDGWICK COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL (SCAC) PROGRAM.
Presented by: Adrienne Byrne-Lutz, Health Director, Division of Health.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the terms of the agreement and authorize the Chair to sign.

Cities seeking to enter into full service agreements agree to be governed by Animal Control codes within Chapter 5, Sedgwick County Code. If a city elects to adopt its own codes, the full service agreement would be removed and the city would be eligible for a limited services agreement or a mutual aid agreement. The Cities of Cheney and Viola have requested to enter into a limited service agreement with Sedgwick County.

Alternatives:
The Board of County Commissioners could elect not to enter into the agreements to provide services.

Financial Considerations:
Revenue generated will be managed through fund center 41001-110.

Legal Considerations:
The duration of this contract is from time signed ...
