Recommended Action: Approve the Range Reallocation.
3rd Quarter 2016 Compensation Study Recommendations: Recommending 2 position classification range reallocations due to changes in job duties and adjusting Dispatcher I and II to create a career ladder - See attached spreadsheet for Budget Impact Amounts.
Alternatives: Do not approve the reclassifications.
Financial Considerations: $59,909 for change in pay and benefits. The reclassifications will be effective on October 16, 2016. NOTE: No additional funds are being requested as a result of these requests.
Legal Considerations: The Board of County Commissioners has authority to establish personnel policies and procedures pursuant to K.S.A. 19-212.
