Domestic Violence Awareness Month is a month set aside to build awareness of the dynamics of domestic violence in addition to the depth and degree of domestic violence in our community. In addition to building awareness, the purpose if also to educate the community on how they can recognize the signs of domestic violence in their friends and family and be prepared to offer compassionate support.
