Agreement with Kyrie Foundation for Park Use and Controlled Access - Sedgwick County Park.

Recommended Action: Approve the agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign.
The Kyrie Foundation has requested controlled access to certain portions of County roadways within Sedgwick County Park for the purpose of sponsoring and hosting the "Twilight Kyrie 5K". Exclusive use of a portion of the Sedgwick County Park will be granted to the Kyrie Foundation, subject to reasonable inspections and access by County personnel, on Saturday, October 16, 2016. The use granted is limited to the portion of the Park shown highlighted on the Map attached to the agreement (Exhibit A). Controlled access is defined as the non-exclusive use of public roadways to the extent that the use does not conflict with public safety as determined by the Sedgwick County Sheriff. The Kyrie Foundation agrees to coordinate with the Sheriff's Office with regard to traffic control.
Financial Considerations: Per the attached agreement, the special event charge is $250.
Legal Considerations: Kyrie Foundation will comply with insurance requirements pursuant to Section 5 of the agreement.
