RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the joint ordinance and resolution, authorize the Chairman to sign the agreement, and publish the joint ordinance and resolution.
Pursuant to K.S.A. 12-744 and K.S.A. 12-2901 et seq., Sedgwick County and the City of Wichita may enter into an interlocal agreement pertaining to joint planning functions.

Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101, fourth, under which the County can make all contracts and do all other acts in relation to the concerns of the County. Approval is by simple majority vote.
