Resolution authorizing Sedgwick County to participate in the Kansas Local Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Area IV and appoint two (2) members to serve on the Chief Elected Officials Board (CEOB).

Recommended Action: Adopt the resolution.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (Public Law 113-128) (WIOA) has designated the counties of Butler, Cowley, Harper, Kingman, Sedgwick and Sumner to be designated as the Kansas WIOA Local Area IV by the Governor of the State of Kansas.
The Chief Elected Officials Board (CEOB) has been designated as the grant administrator for the WIOA and Sedgwick County has the opportunity to participate and appoint two (2) members on the CEOB.
