Recommended Action: Approve the range reallocation.
Background: Due to the County redesign, the duties are significantly changing and the position warranting a range reallocation.
Analysis: This is not an uncommon practice.
Alternatives: Do not approve the range reallocation.
Financial Considerations: Position 20006011 is included in the 2016 adopted budget as a Property & Lease Compliance Speciliast, grade 131. This action will reclassify the postion as an Internal Performance Auditor position at grade 138. The annualized budget impact is approximately $24,027. This position will be assigned to the County Manager's Office staffing table. Upon approval of the reclassification, budget authority from Facilities Project Services will be transferred to the County Manager's Office for 2016. The 2017 recommended budget also includes this position in the Project Services program; a technical adjustment will be done in the adopted budget to accommodate the position's reassignment.
