Sedgwick County Fire District 1 held two public hearings on July 27 and August 4 regarding the 2017 Recommended Sedgwick County Fire District 1 operating budget of $18,064,749. The proposed budget includes a $15,744,982 property tax levy, which is approximately equivalent to a property tax rate, expressed in mills, of 18.371 mills.

Financial Considerations: The 2017 Recommended Budget includes appropriations of $18,064,749 for Fire District 1, which are funded in part with a property tax levy of $15,744,982.
