This is the first of two public hearings to be held regarding the 2017 Fire District 1 budget. The second public budget hearing is scheduled for Thursday, August 4 at 6 p.m. Budget adoption is scheduled for August 10.

Financial Considerations: As presented on July 13, the 2017 recommended budget totaled $18,064,749, which includes a property tax levy of $15,744,982. The property tax levy is approximately equivalent to a property tax rate, expressed in mills, of 18.371 mills, based on the estimated assessed valuation and subject to review and technical adjustments.
