This is the second and final public hearing to be held regarding the 2017 Sedgwick County budget. The first public budget hearing was held on Wednesday, July 27. Budget adoption is scheduled for August 10.

Financial Considerations: As presented on July 13, the 2017 recommended budget totaled $406,091,994, which includes a property tax levy of $133,201,437. The property tax levy is approximately equivalent to a property tax rate, expressed in mills, of 29.359 mills, based on the estimated assessed valuation and subject to review and technical adjustments.
