Recommended Action: Approve the bylaws and authorize the Chairman to sign.
The Sedgwick County Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board Executive Committee and Full Board recently reviewed the bylaws and recommend changes based on system changes that have taken place since the last bylaw revision. The Board voted to recommend the changes to the Board of Sedgwick County Commissioners and Dave Jones, Chair of the Sedgwick County Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board, signed off on the revised bylaws on May 18, 2016.
Alternatives: Do not approve the bylaws and the current bylaws will continue to be used.

Legal Considerations: Pursuant to Sedgwick County Code Sec. 14-112, the bylaws are required to be approved by a majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners. Approval is by simple majority vote.
