Approval of Amendment to Professional Services Agreement with the University of Kansas School of Medicine (Wichita) Medical Practice Association for Medical Services Provided to Juveniles in the Department of Corrections Residential Facilities.

Approve the amendment and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Approval of this amendment allows the Univerity of Kansas School of Medicine to continue providing medical services to juveniles placed in Department of Corrections residential facilities. This agreement is for July 1, 2016 to December 30, 2016.
Alternatives: County is required to provide residents of the Facility with professional medical services.
Financial Considerations: Funds used are contained in fund centers 33016-110, 33017-110 and 33024-253. Under the terms of this agreement, the total amount of compensation paid by the County shall not exceed $111,028. Sufficient budget authority exists in the 2016 budget.
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101. A simple majority vote is required.
