Acknowledge donation of hygiene products to Sedgwick County COMCARE.

Recommended Action: Accept the donations and authorize the Chairman to sign the letters of appreciation.
Background: This winter COMCARE challenged its programs to collect hygiene products to give out to consumers. Hygiene products are typically the more challenging products for our consumers to obtain. This winter COMCARE was lucky enough to receive donations not only from employees, but also from businesses in our community.
There were five businesses that each donated a significant amount of hygiene products. COMCARE would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hampton Inn- East, the Monarch restaurant, St. Vincent de Paul Church- Andover, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, and the Wichita Area Technical College (WATC) for their donations. COMCARE staff will distribute these donations among consumers being served.

Financial Considerations: There is not financial consideration.
Budget Authority Adjustment: No additional budget authority is being requested.
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101 and a simple majority vote is required.
Policy Considerations: All Sedgwick County policies were followed in the acceptance of these donations.
