Recommended Action: Approve the CIP amendment.
This project provides approach repairs, retaining wall repairs, drainage curbing and polymer overlays for two bridges on MacArthur that cross Lake Afton. Bids were received for construction of the project on September 15, 2015, but were rejected because the low bid exceeded both the budget and the engineer's estimates. The project was re-bid on December 8, 2015 with a revised engineer's estimate. The bid is now below the estimate but still exceeds the budget authority. A CIP amendment is required to provide additional budget authority.

Financial Considerations: Funds for the CIP amendment are available from project cost savings from other completed projects.
