Annually, Sedgwick County prepares a legislative platform with items of interest that may require attention during the state legislative session. The platform states the majority of the Board of Sedgwick County Commissioners' position on identified issues. This document is considered a fluid, working document that can be modified at any time by the Board of County Commissioners. As the legislative session evolves, there may be issues or bills that require us to respond in some manner. The County's Legislative Liaison works to ensure ongoing communication about the occurrences in the legislative session and the will of the Board of Sedgwick County Commissioners regarding those issues.
