Recommended Action: Approve the payment of membership dues effective January 1, 2016.
Information provided by the Kansas Natural Resource Coalition (KNRC) would be valuable to Sedgwick County. Memberships to KNRC are for a calendar year and are not prorated; for this reason, Sedgwick County's membership will be effective Jan. 1, 2016.
Alternatives: Do not pay the membership fee to join the KNRC.
Financial Considerations: Initial membership dues ($7,545) will be paid from the Board of County Commissioners' budget after a transfer of budget authority from the Board of County Commissioners' (BOCC) Contingency. After the first year, annual membership dues will be $5,045.
