Recommended Action: Approve the amendment and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Sedgwick County has leased space at 1720 E. Morris since 1999. Sedgwick County COMCARE moved into the space in 2006 and occupies approximately 6,620 square feet. This space houses COMCARE's Sedgwick County Offender Assessment Program (SCOAP).
This Third Amendment to Lease Agreement amends the lease to reflect the property now being held solely in the name of Betty L. Linder, Trustee, of the Betty L. Linder Trust. The lease has been amended to show the current owner and lessor of the property.
Alternatives: The County Commission could choose to not approve this lease amendment, in which case the lease would be held in the previous owners names.

Legal Considerations: Sedgwick County is authorized by K.S.A. 19-101 second and fourth to lease real property and to enter into such contracts (including leases) as deemed necessary.
