Recommended Action: Approve; accept and authorize the Chairman to sign the bylaws established for the Animal Care Advisory Board.
Background:
Bylaws outlining the duties for members of the Sedgwick County Animal Care Advisory Board have been approved by the Animal Care Advisory Board and approval of the Board of County Commissioners is requested pursuant to Sec. 5-54 of the Sedgwick County Code.
Alternatives: To not accept the established bylaws.
Financial Considerations: N/A
Legal Considerations: Pursuant to Sec. 5-54 of the Sedgwick County Code, the Board of County Commissioners has to approve any bylaws for the Animal Care Advisory Board. Approval is by simple majority vote.
