RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS AND REAPPOINTING A MEMBER IN THE POSITIONS OF JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER, MASTER PLUMBER, JOINTLY APPOINTED PUBLIC-AT-LARGE, AND BOCC MECHANICAL ENGINEER (BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' APPOINTMENTS) TO THE METROPOLITAN AREA BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT BOARD OF APPEALS OF PLUMBERS AND GAS FITTERS.

BoCC Journeyman Plumber: Seth Harrington replacing Jerry Short whose term expired
BoCC Master Plumber: Kelsey Leidy replacing Erik Vail whose term expired
Jointly Appointed Public-at-Large: Larry Doughty replacing Rodney Ketzner whose term expired
Reappointment as follows:
BoCC Mechanical Engineer: Keith Brewer

Legal Considerations: Pursuant to Sec. 3.A.010 of the Wichita-Sedgwick County Unified Building and Trade Code, the Board of County Commissioners has the authority to appoint three (3) of these positions outright and the other appointment is undertaken jointly with the City of Wichita. The City recently appointed Mr. Doughty to that position. Approval is by simple majority vote.
