RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt the Resolution for the 2016 Sedgwick County Fire District 1 operating budget.

Sedgwick County held two public hearings on July 29 and August 6 regarding the proposed 2016 operating budget for Sedgwick County Fire District 1. The budget of $18,155,963 includes a property tax levy of $15,246,367, which is approximately equivalent to a property tax rate, expressed in mills, of 18.367 based on the estimated assessed valuation.
