Recommended Action: Adopt the Resolution and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Acquisition of certain private property is needed for the purposes of constructing certain street improvements generally along 53rd St. North from Broadway to one-half mile east of Hydraulic Avenue near the city of Park City.
The County and property owners have been unable to reach agreement on the issue of just compensation, and the County needs to acquire the easements in order to start construction.

Legal Considerations: The County is authorized to condemn right of way for street improvements pursuant to K.S.A 68-114 and K.S.A. 26-501. An authorizing resolution is necessary in order to begin the condemnation process.
