Background: The Midwest Transplant Network (MTN), is an Organ Procurement Organization that works with donors and families in Kansas and Western Missouri. The Regional Forensic Science Center (RFSC) maintains partnerships with MTN and other organ donation organizations to ensure a smooth and successful process by providing a room leased at a per case rate for collection. MTN also has storage in the Body Receiving area. The floor in Body Receiving has a high not suitable for the needs of MTN, as well as the RFSC. MTN has elected to donate the cost to apply a new epoxy floor surface to remedy this issue.
Alternatives: To not accept the donation from the Midwest Transplant Network and leave floor unrepaired.
