Agreement with the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita Medical Practice Association for Medical Services Provided to Juveniles in the Department of Corrections Residential Facilities.

Recommended Action: Approve the agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Approval of this agreement allows the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Medical Practice Association to continue providing medical services to juveniles placed in Department of Corrections residential facilities. This agreement is for July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.
Alternatives: Do not approve the agreement.
Financial Considerations: Funds used are contained in fund centers 33016-110, 33017-110 and 33024-253. Under terms of the agreement, the total amount of compensation paid by the County shall not exceed $222,056. Sufficient budget authority exists in the 2015 budget.
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101. A simple majority vote is required.
